One person with whom I correspond made the following argument in favor of BDTC: OraTest has a very high profit margin -- about 90% he says. According to him, the margin would have fallen to around 10-15% with the P&G agreement. I haven't verified these statements, but if he is correct, that's a strong argument in support of the BDTC merger.
