It used to be legendary in the government agency where I worked that if they had given the job of going to the moon to us we would have done it for a tenth the cost in half the time and made a profit.

Then something happened.

We found it necessary to move double-wide trailers into the parking lot to house specialists to analyze the effects of our efficiency because we had already used up all the conference rooms for their office space.

We had to go elsewhere if we wanted to hold a staff meeting.
