To Bill and all:

Does it frustrate anyone else that T can't seem to get a break in the press? I can't remember the last time that I read a positive article about AT&T since the break-up news. My latest concern is the new flack over the "secret" dime-a-minute rate that must be asked for rather than openly offered by AT&T. My first impression (I'm sure similar to many others) is that it's only going to add to mistrust and dislike of AT&T in the general marketplace, and serve as fodder for MCI and especially Sprint in advertising - taking even more AT&T customers away.

When will the PR and management teams wake up?

If anyone can point out the positives in this, I might feel a little better.

Long T, but kind of angry,

Andy Hewson
