NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Investors gave a big green light to Crossroads Systems Wednesday as the networking specialist's initial public offering quadrupled.

..Crossroads Systems (CRDS: news, msgs) opened at 36 1/2, up more than 100 percent from its $18 price and ended the day with a gain of 337 percent. Shares galloped to 78 23 /32, up 42 7/32 from the open, on volume of 11 million shares.
