Meanwhile, Australia and New Zealand are nearly Covid-free zones now due to rigorous prior lock-downs, mask and quarantine requirements, and improvements in health and safety.

No masks are required in New Zealand anymore. People are free to so as they please. Australia is pretty much the same. They've crushed the pandemic.
