Scott, here is somthing to think about.

Seems like there is a greater demand for professional versions of office suites than standard versions at the retail level. This is demonstrated in the SoftTrends retail data for June and July. More copies of Office 97 Pro are selling than Office 97 Standard.

Corel WP8 Standard is outselling both 97 Pro and 97 Standard and doesn't even include CorelCentral. I would guess that the retailers have significantly or completely sold the 300,000 copies of WP8 shipped in May.

Now with this reasoning, I would think WP8 Pro is going to be an even bigger seller than WP8 Standard. First, WP8 Pro is a complete product including CorelCentral and second, the data indicates that the professional version of WP8 will be in greater demand.

So, isn't it reasonable to think that Corel might have shipped 300,000 copies of WP8 Pro just like they did in May for WP8 standard.

If so, WP8 Pro sales will be much greater than 15M. The upgrade price of WP8 Pro is US$249 and 'no' rebates.
