I'd like to take the politics out of it as much as possible if I had my druthers. Most would agree; unfortunately the extremists get the most ink. Like peak oil, AGW is NOT going to be codified by a group of scientists who draw from the government teat to continue their research. Peak oil MAY be an issue. AGW MAY be an issue. Neither are going to be settled any time soon, regardless.
