Off-topic: IMO, the nation is supporting (a censured) Clinton staying in office, but that wont stop Republicans from milking this for all its worth -- strengthening their hold on House/Senate and using the confusion to savage every social program they can.

Cool! That may actually give this country a shot at a Republican Congress and a Republican President for the first time since the 1950's. While I'm a bit anxious about what might happen to the environment in the future if this were to happen, I would enjoy every other aspect of it.

A censured Clinton is probably the best chance for this, 'cause if Al Gore becomes the Pres., he may become entrenched and tougher to beat in 2000.

I really like your posts on SI soup, so I hope you won't hold this difference of opinion against me. :)
