This MSFT/INTC/HWP and NT announcement is a sign of things to come: Expect more of these types of "growth stories" as we now round the far turn and head towards the 26th. Also, I would expect that more of the PC makers will join this "consortium" over time as it is one of the pure growth areas for them to turn their sights on, with an eventual battle of CSCO and LU off in the future. I would bet the farm, however, that you will see MSFT in some sort of JV type arrangements with all of these players as we head into the year 2000 and beyond. Being in the "software" is the key.
