I think thunderbird which is the mozilla outlook product is ready for the masses. I'm the masses and I use it, anyway. And I think google is going to take the calendar function away and put it on the web with a worldwide meeting maker- this is extremely useful for people like me that have meetings with lots of different people that I work with daily but do not work in my office. Enough of this stuff flies out the door and the operating system is a lot less relevant. People will just go with whats cheapest and that is linux imho.
