I didn't say that "none" of the clips were cut off. You'd be lying if you believe that. His, "I would have voted for authorization" rant did not change the meaning of his assertion that he voted for the $87 billion before he voted against it (show me where it does if you think so). Kerry was already on record saying..... "I don’t think any United States senator is going to abandon our troops and recklessly leave Iraq to whatever follows as a result of simply cutting and running. That’s irresponsible. What is responsible is for the administration to do this properly now. And I am laying out the way in which the administration could unite the American people, could bring other countries to the table, and I think could give the American people a sense that they’re on the right track. There’s a way to do this properly. But I don’t think anyone in the Congress is going to not give our troops ammunition, not give our troops the ability to be able to defend themselves. We’re not going to cut and run and not do the job." (CBS’ "Face The Nation," 9/14/03) Yet John Kerry did recklessly vote against the $87 billion over trivial issues. So trivial that he was one of 12 who voted against it (all but one were liberal democrats - the other a liberal indepentent). IOW, it was a landslide vote to support our troops & Kerry hypocritically stood with other anti-war Senators to vote against it. CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: "He also made what turned out to be a fatal political mistake, I think, which is he voted in favor of the war. Fatal if you’re a Democrat and a candidate, and the war is now looking a little less glorious than it did in April. And Dean has a consistent opposition, he has the energy and the fire, and he’s been rabid on this for over a year." (WUSA’s "Inside Washington," 11/15/03)
