OK, there's vodka, rum, tequila, and gin, that's mandatory, and then there's something sour, most likely lemon juice but maybe lime juice, and then there's something sweet, maybe Triple Sec, maybe coca-cola, maybe both. But no tea. Turns out that Chris' college buddies went through a Long Island Iced Tea phase. What do you expect from Tulane? Half the people there were from Long Island. So we went in search of lobster, but all the restaurants were crowded, and no one wanted to wait, so we went to Fuddruckers instead. And we didn't have ice cream, either. :^(
But, we did go to the ABC and I am having Long Island Iced Tea. It doesn't taste like I remember them, but it's authentic. |
