A. Hayer wrote: "The big volume in August is telling us somthing. They are buying in advance of news." Who are they? Are they the same brokers who downgrade the stock? In a nutshell, what you might be suggesting is: The money to be made is when these "large institutional investors" are putting their thumbs down to a stock to help drive the price down, meanwhile, they, themselves, could be buying it up so when the news comes out to be positive, the stock price moves up, and they themselves book nice gains. B.C. In other words, do not trust this type of analysis?
