Wesley you are on to something.

Many excellent ipo's (real co's with real revs and earnings) will take a J-curve pattern where they dip substantially over the several weeks after the ipo, then recover and really do well. I think as some of the vc and other big boys sell, the stocks dip, for no fundemental reasons. I did well buying during the dips this way with brkt and ktic.

Arbor software is another example as is Chicago Minature Lamp. (These go back a few years, but this pattern continues to repeat itself over and over with many ipo's.)
