I realize these summaries are prepared "way back", but the fact that there is a "last updated" date indicates to me that the provider of this information would make a reasonable effort to make sure all facts are still valid......anyhow, for what it's worth, this is the company's profile on the Yahoo quotes page:

Company Summary

Valence Technology develops and produces advanced rechargeable batteries based on lithium and polymer technologies. The
company believes that the widespread use of portable consumer electronics, such as computers, cellular telephones,
camcorders, and handheld power tools, has resulted in an increased demand for improved batteries that can deliver increasing
amounts of electricity through smaller and lighter units. Major customers for the company's current products include Delphi,
which uses Valence batteries in its land, marine, and air vehicles; Motorola, for use in communications products; and
Hewlett-Packard, which uses lithium polymer batteries in its personal computers.

I know that the Motorola and HP connections are from 1992; however, as I've stated earlier, they "must have" kept the lines of communication open between themselves and MOT and HP. Also like the Delphi connection with the military market.

Good rise today. From a TA, testing the $5.5 was very critical. It has to stay above $5.5/$6; if it falls past that, then the next level of support "looks like" $4. Basically, it would have formed a twin peaks chart, which, while I'm no technician, isn't good technically. If, however, it stays above $5.5/$6, and rises from there, then it would be forming a double bottom, which is positive.

Of course, this is all TA "crap", which is pretty hard to use on a company with no revenues and is valued based on expectations of production/deals/etc. So....Still long VLNC, and hoping it drifts down a little more so I can add to my position.

(Off topic....the networkers certainly came back strong!)
