Patrice.....while John is bussy scowering the net and finding more gems for us to enjoy, i will take a stab at a dvd estimate. '97 DVD share will likely be slightly smaller than 35%. Ziva is just starting to make the rounds, while the CE mfg's (read BillyG's Sony report) are (stupidly) building expensive 8-12 chip solutions. Mid 3rd quarter and 4th should be where Ziva's kick in. I expect them to take the PC market lead in DVD by year end, though currently Zoran and Cromatic have had the most notable design wins. Watch for some of these to become "former design wins". When you see this happen, you will know Ziva is knockin them down.... Also...its very hard to tell what q4 is going to do, so 35% maybe too low if DVD is anything like the Nintendo/Sega/Playstation phenomenon......
