You would think that the stock of a company that was addded
to the standard and poor's small cap index last week would
move up as a result.

Do they add a stock to the index that they think is going down the tube fast

More index players as evidenced by the 'great one' the big 'F'
whose initials are Fidelity and thinks indexes are so in vogue that their
going to do the index.
