Since you all are always up on oil and gas stocks, I was wondering if you would share some information with me.

I am heavily invested in small oil companies, primarily doing fracking activities. I notice they go up or down for days at a time. Not only these type of oil companies, but the oil industry in general.

I was wondering, do you look at any thing Specific to try and identify these temporary trends??

If you spot or believe a trend is underway, do you buy on the upward trends??

Do you get out of positions or hedge your positions with Oil ETFs on a downtrend??

I have noticed several downtrends, and usually just stay the course and hope for the best.

I would rather be more proactive and do something.

I primarily sell puts at prices I feel are very reasonable if I have to take the shares.

Thanks for any opinions you may have.
