Warner has sold nearly 1M DVD discs all by itself................................... mediacentral.com Overset: Media Notes Warner Home Video has sold nearly a million digital video discs (DVD) since introducing the movie format three months ago, WHV president Warren Lieberfarb reported at the Video Software Dealers Association convention in Las Vegas. WHV plans an aggressive marketing campaign to promote DVD including television, print advertising and consumer promotions. By year's end, WHV will have released 127 DVD titles in addition to 81 titles from Time Warner-affiliated studios New Line, HBO and MGM.
