"i know that we have discussed naviscope a few times here on this thread, but the gist of all the posts has escaped me, as to whether it is good, bad or indifferent."

Naviscope will be most appreciated by those with slow dial-up links. It's a good program, but doesn't make such difference in speed for those with faster connections.
