This reminds me of April 22, 1997. One day before NSCP released earnings a Volpe Brown Whelan analyst initiates coverage with UNDERPERFORM and a target price of around $21. The stock dropped to around $23.5 that day. The earnings met expectations the next day. If you look at the chart you will see that NSCP moved up from there to around $50 in the next few months.

Actually analysts have never been sure of NSCP meeting their quarter, thats why the stock is were it is today. They always seem to pull a rabbit out of the hat - so far at least.
