If they don't hold their customers in high regard, sooner or later they won't have any.

That's a big "if" not borne out by the history of their success.

However, as I said in my reply to Paul You could argue that times have changed and now DELL needs to sell AMD (and other) CPU's to fulfil its obligations. Rollins was explaining why he does not agree.

This exchange began with an article that showed that DELL based their decision not to offer AMD on a rationale arising from their business model and not soley on Intel's marketing dollars or improper pressures or on any antagonism towards AMD.
