>I thought they were the same but I was watching on closed caption and they made it look like they were two different guys. But the truth is I don't know the NFL's QBKs all that well.

My guess is the other is Doug Flutie, 'cause his son has a rare disease as well.

Flutie's kid has autism; the guy who I thought was Eiasen as opposed to Boomer..... hs kid has a rare disease where he can't breathe and he is lethargic most of the time. I didn't see the name of the disease. I don't think it was cystic fibrosis.

I was at the gym and turned the channel just as Boomer came on and started crying. I must have missed the other's guy name....for a while, they kept flipping back and forth between the two of them......I wasn't familiar with the guy. Later, they showed Flutie.......I knew about the org. he has set up for autism.

All in all they ended up showing about 6-7 QBKs who have kids with rare and/or fatal diseases. It struck me that those looked like pretty amazing odds.........I wonder if the offspring of NFL players have a greater propensity for a genetic malfunction or for rare diseases.
