Shankar - This is vaporware at this point. No details whatsoever. Just vapid claims.

UNC did a lot of work on this thing called pixel plane technology that is pretty cool stuff. You get extremely high pixel fill rates cheaply. This technology was licensed to Division Ltd out of Britain. When Division was failing, HP kicked in some bucks sometime back. I don't know if Division is even alive these days but this is probably Division's technology.

Division set out with the lofty goal of "killing SGI". Problem was the gun was pointed the wrong way when they pulled the trigger.

As McCracken stated in their last conference call, when more players enter the market, a lot of their customers move to SGI when they want real graphics systems. I know this to be the case with some Division users.

I've got my doubts that this will threaten SGI's dominance and the market agrees.
