I dont think anyone of either party or persuasion has a problem with Kerrys length of time in the military, when he joined or when he got out or the fact that he was honorably discharged ......... its those 4 months in the Mekong Delta that he lied and exaggerated about in order to get the 2 medals, 3 purple hearts, staged films, and misc background material for his "down the road" political ambitions.... the fact that after leaving the military he actively assisted the enemy, the VC, the NVA and the political Hanoi apparatus.... against his remaining fellow "Brothers in Arms" is particularly disgusting if not treasonous. that fact that his Hanoi Jane Fondalike actions in USA had a negative and physical impact on the remaining Hanoi Hilton POWs is just beyond the pale and not describable here where most posters were yet to be born. I also find it despicable that Senator John McCain has forsaken his fellow Brothers and POW compatriots for potential political favor "down the road"..... fortunately Kerrys disgusting actions are catching up to him and will most likely be the single reason for the downfall of his presidential bid. regards to all fellow VN vets and brothers from chucky....
