Apparently, the Guardian’s viewpoint is that only “fervent rightwingers” could actually support Denmark’s battle for free speech—when it would be difficult to find a more “liberal” cause than the right to free expression. The subheadline for the article’s another howler: One year on, protagonists have few regrets despite deaths of more than 139 people. As if the Danes should “regret” violence and murder they did not perpetrate. Why do Guardian writers never seem to think the raging Muslim mobs need to regret anything?
