Joe, I agree with you. I'm setting here in the middle of this "brain forrest" and while one could feel the tide of uneasiness lifting around here in the May-June time frame, there was no real signs that the downturn would be this fast or this deep or (even now) how long. There are, of course, rumors but they are always with us. I do think this market will turn around mildly in a few months and profoundly within a year or so. If it doesn't, I'll need to apologise to my 401k WITH FEELING! I look at the research programs going on and it's clear to me that when the next buying frensy comes, we will have new technology to offer. I am in the game for the long run and I feel that AMAT is a absolute winner on that scale.
