Senor Luis...me again. You know, I only started investing and trading in Feb last year. I still hold my first two purchases - T and AOL. So, you have more experience than I, OK? For options, I would visit the Options exchange- cboe.com Wealth of info there. The July 25 put for CPQ was priced at 2-1/16 ask, meaning $2.0625 per contract of 100 shares or $206.25. You're right, it will be expensive to hedge your 800 shares now. But if you bought this last Fri, you'll be sleeping very well tonight..hehehe... BTW..glad to know your hija had a great time with you and her friends. But very sad about the situation with your Papa..Perhaps our friends Margaret and Sir Paul II (Paul Orr Jones) can recommend nutrition in order that his medication will be better absorbed and the immune system improved? Just ask them Luis, they and all of our friends here are very unselfish on these matters. Last Christmas season, there were a few discussion about alcohol intoxication, and am very thankful for them.
