I believe this is a different type of program than what David is talking about. Both kinds have been discussed here in the past.

There are freeware or shareware programs that I believe does the same thing the program you referenced does. I remember I downloaded one and played with changing the settings for a while, but it didn't noticably change my speed. I think if your system is reasonably tuned, like I'm sure yours would be, you probably won't see an improvement. In any case, maybe someone will still have the URL to a free program that you can try before you spend money. I think they were discussed here shortly after Dawg started this thread.

I think David is talking about one of those surfing excelerators that work by visiting links in the background and caching pages, so that when you click a link, it's already been downloaded to your computer while you were reading the previous page. One reason programs like this are such a disaster with SI is that while it is trying to visit and cache each link, it will invariably hit all the "remove bookmark" links so that your bookmarks come up empty.
