About 16-20 thousand Americans die (and 1900 Canadians) each year due to GI bleeds and other oral NSAID complications. If this number can be decreased with a product like Pennsaid - and there are no serious side-effects (which appears to be the case) this would seem to imply a decent cost/benefit by using the product.

DMSO has been used for years by many athletes in amounts far exceeding what is used in Pennsaid - the drug got a bad wrap from the get-go for no real scientifically valid reason. The FDA themselves have admitted publicly there is no evidence DMSO causes any serious side-effects - and the stuff has been around for decades.

Do a search using the terms DMSO and you will be amazed at what you turn up.
