Verizon Comms (VZ) 52.81 -0.10: -- Update -- Company reaffirms full year EPS guidance of $3.13-3.17; will reduce capital
expenditures by $1 bln to $17.5 bln. Importantly, company says it is not cutting back on equipment purchases but simply getting what it
needs at a lower price -- citing favorable market conditions for equipment purchases. This is another data point suggesting pricing pressure
is heating up in the telecom equipment sector.
