Jeff << LASTMINUTE PLANS EURO EXPANSION British travel site Lastminute.com is celebrating a £6.1 million cash injection from a variety of American investors, which it plans to spend on renewed European expansion. The site, which concentrates on "last minute" offers such as flights, package holidays, gifts, and auctions, is developing localised editions for European markets, and a London-based marketing campaign. Co-founder Martha Lane Fox said the company had pencilled in flotation for early next year. >>
