AMES did well up to 1998, when Rolando was hired. Rolando came from Sears Mexico and did a stock issue on Wall street for Sears. AMES outsourced with IBM for their IT dept.; then they experimented with net music and medical supplies. Very progressive but lost money on those ventures. Hills acquisition is still an unknown factor; but they learned how to liquidate outdated merchandise.

So, the tail end of last year, AMES came back with a vengeance. Store closing improved revenue(faster turn over). If this year they keep focused and the management stabilizes, the future could be more steady performance.

$100 here we come.
