The recriminations and finger pointing have already started. Dems blaming Reps, congressmen blaming AQMD (Air Quality Municipal District), EPA, Clinton, Forest Service, etc. Lots of blame to go around. The fire reached the communications towers at Mt Wilson and a few of them got destroyed. The TV stations are having a few problems trying to work around the problem. Took this about 20 minutes ago. The wind is blowing the smoke toward the east. They're estimating that it's going to take 2 weeks to get control of the fire, which doubled in size overnight. Those are the Hollywood Hills in the foreground. The Angeles Forest is the next range behind the HHs.
