Deja Vu?

Friday, 16-Jan-98, Nikkei closes up 924 to 16046 after a holiday on Thursday, a gain of 6.11%.

Over the next 4.5 years, the Nikkei drops 6098 points, or 38%, to today's close of 9948.

Later that same day, 24-Jul-02, the Dow closes up 489 points to 8191, a gain of 6.35%.

So... where will the DOW be in 4.5 years? If DOW follows Nikkei story, it will be at 5078.
