Don't forget that removal for data exchange is only one of the virtues of including a flash card slot in a camera. It also means that the manufacturer can include a minimal amount of flash, thereby keeping the initial (and highly visible) purchase price low. And it allows the customer to decide what memory capacity is appropriate for their purpose and whether that should be a single card or a series of them. Even with Bluetooth, it allows the customer to select the storage size and upgrade very easily. [Compare the ease of upgrading to a bigger CF card with the hassle of taking apart your PC to add more memory. Many non-tech-savvy people are unwilling to open their computers, let alone fuss with memory modules.]
