The TP syndrome is alive and well at NOW. You could almost call it the NOW syndrome. You could define the syndrome as the firm belief, unassailable by logic or evidence, that those one counts as political allies are automatically virtuous.

It is an appealing belief, but it is never true, at any point on the political spectrum.
