John Re....You freaking idiot. "Keeping them clean", hell, the problem is making them WORK. It's like Henry Ford saying we can't mass produce the car because their are not any car washes. If it were up to you we would have waited to invent windows until we had invented Windex! I really don't understand what you are getting your undies in a bunch about. Solar panels are hardly 100% maintenance free. And they need to be cleaned occasionally, especially in dirty environments. So do nuclear plants, hydroelectrice facilities etc. Its called ongoing and preventative maintenance.
