, but I think he'd have been more diplomatic - more understanding of the existence and difference of other I'm sure everyone around here is sick to death of my little hobby horse that people should be civil to one another and respectful of the moccasins of others. I fuss on and on about behavior on SI threads, the cavalier disregard of minorities by assorted majorities, demagoguery of all kinds, and just plain rudeness. So I am surely displeased to see that kind of bully attitude so arrogantly displayed by my President. Not that I necessarily disagree with his disinclination to buy into the European agenda, but the least he could do is be diplomatic and respectful about it. Karen
