"Knifing the Baby" was a MSFT offer AAPL refused , and DOJ knows why MSFT included its video functions in its IE 4.0 over AAPL's objection and the DOJ has confirming details of their repeated meetings . AAPL is releasing new browsing technology (Sherlock) in OS 8.5 around 10/15 and the DOJ's case against MSFT begins 10/15/98 . AAPL ships a new "Appleworks" and dedicates a web site to support its 16 million users . Appleworks has some MSFT "Office" functions and can run in Windows : apple.com MSFT should realize only the Godfather makes offers you can't refuse . Jim K. PS: Dennis the Seattle Times article could also support SUNW's contract law suit against MSFT .
