Ted, The reality is that Jesus's ministry was not about torture and death but about life and its potential goodness. How sick that Gibson dwells mostly on the former, not the latter. How disturbed that he accentuates the drama of Jesus's ending in a way that is horribly graphic. Do you know anything about the significance of Jesus' death on the cross? Once you do, you too will agree that the movie is anything but anti-Semitic, and that the whole notion of Jews killing Jesus is bunk. Who is it that needs to learn the lesson? Ask me again later.
