Apple Rising: Bull Run Continues as Nomura, Bernstein, OpCo Defend Following several negative notes on Apple ( AAPL) in the past two weeks, a few more bulls came out to defend the stock this morning. This latest bull run follows positive notes last Thursday from Morgan Stanley, FBR, UBS, and Summit Research. Toni Sacconaghi of Bernstein Research, Andrew Uerkwitz of Oppenheimer & Co., and Jeffrey Kvaal of Nomura Equity Research all defended their Buy-equivalent ratings in the face of what they see as “overblown” concerns about slowing growth, particularly slowing iPhone growth. Uerkwitz, under the title “In defense of Apple,” writes that people are underestimating China as a contributor, given it will soon become a bigger installed base for iPhone than the U.S.: More at: blogs.barrons.com o~~~ O
