Something that has happened all too often... past tense. I can't undo that, and went this way since there did not appear to be any critical mass of AMD discussion.

Dave, just be clear.....this thread was not "hijacked". It was abandoned by the people who posted about AMD. They all migrated to the mod thread when it opened. The mod thread was established to keep the INTC posters from starting trouble.

Further, this is an non-moderated thread, and I'm not interested in moderating it by proxy. That's especially true when non-AMD discussion has been the rule for so long and for literally tens of thousands of posts.

Its been nearly three years since AMD was actively discussed on this thread.

We will let you know when we have settled on a new name. Thanks for your help.
