THe email is from a person listed through AOL. As someone else has suggested, American On Line will allow several alias' and is very secure, which means that the true identity can be hidden if one chooses to hide it. This helps email to be very private but also sometimes encourages malevolent activities as well. THe bottom line is ignoring this kind of stuff is usually the best way to deal with it unless it becomes a bad case of spamming.
