Ted Re...Solar panels have to be put on the ground to be cleaned. Why?
Having reading comprehension problems again. Read once again, what I said. I said "on the ground, or within easy reach" You do know that Or within easy reach, could mean off the ground, but not so high that you can't reach it with a mop on a pole, or a power sprayer.
I suspect that's how often solar panels would need cleaning. What's the big deal?!
If you would have worked in the field, and had gotten some experience, you would know what the big deal is. You can't install a 50 - 100,000 dollar system on a house, and then not expect to get sued, 6 months to a yr later, when the system fails work up to par. You have to install a system that will work for a reasonable length of time, and you have to make sure the homeowner knows about the maintenance, and is able to do it. Otherwise you have to take your system back, give the owner back his money, and repair his house. Why is putting the panels on the roof a liability to the contractor?" Because there are safety laws on the books, (OHSA), which tell you, you can't let any of your employees go on a slanted roof, without a safety harness. So it is not reasonable to expect the homeowner to go on the roof, without a harness. Further if he does and falls off, take 3 guesses who will get sued, and the first two don't count.
Misleading? No one is trying to mislead anyone. You all are just so unreasonable. There is no flexibility what's so ever.
Obviously you haven't had the joy of being sued for triple damages, over trumped up charges. There is no flexibilty anymore, because you could pay for any minor infraction some lawyer can think up. And your insurance companies, nowadays, go over your business practices, with a fine toothed comb, and if they see any practices, which they feel you might be liable for, things they might have to pay out on, they will tell you to stop it, or they will drop you like a ton of bricks. Your no big deal will be the end of your business, and everything you own, if somebody gets hurt. |
