'President Pelosi' even scares her By DonSurber Following my column on Thursday, Nancy Pelosi is making it plain that she will not seek impeachment. The video is here. Having “President Pelosi” in a Drudge Report headline must have scared even her. She went so far as to promise not to impeach to “60 Minutes” last night. But in doing so, she made it plain why Democrats will fall short on Nov. 7. They have no plan -- or at least none that they will share with the general public. Raising minimum wage and changing lobbyist rules are not enough to get them elected. This quote from Pelosi is enough to show the Democrats are not ready for prime time this year: “Wouldn't they just love it if we came in and our record as Democrats coming forth after 12 years is to talk about George Bush and Dick Cheney? This election is about them. This is a referendum on them. Making them lame ducks is good enough for me.” Promising Americans 2 years of beating up Bush is not a winning strategy. President Pelosi. President Pelosi. President Pelosi. Has a Halloween ring to it.
