It doesn't look good from that angle, but then again you could look at in term of assets, gold reserves, and future gold price to consider. Of course, if everything gets irrationally sold down to < 10 P/Es and/or 1 to 2 times book value, everyone long any stocks is going to get screwed.

We all knew the miners took a dive with the rest of stocks in 1929, but this time was suppose to be different because the miners are at the tail end of 20 year bear market. Right now, it is looking like the miners are bound and determine to tank with the rest of the market. I am sure they will be a great buy after the market is through tanking, but they sure suck right now.
