I used to think I would like to live there....but not any more. We used to go to SFO and/or Carmel by the Sea at least once or twice a year...but haven't been down there for at least four years now....there are other places to see, and to be....Plus SFO has gotten so crazy that I just can't stand it. It makes me very sad not to go, but why go, if the people aren't nice. I lived in San Francisco for a year in the late '70s. Last time there was 4 years ago when we took the kids down for Spring Break. Never again. I did not enjoy having to worry about protecting my kids from the whackos and aggressive panhandlers they have on every street corner there.
