Station fire is still going. They were doing everything possible to kill it before these Santa Ana winds came. Now there's 2 fires burning. It's the animals that bother me too. The bears, coyotes, etc., get their feet burned after the fire's out. All the animals are coming into the populated areas looking for food and water. Big problem in the foothills. Lake Tahoe Wildlife treated a cub for burned paws successfully and finally released him back to the wild. They now have 6 more cubs (probably because the Forest Service killed their moms for raiding trash cans). ltwc.typepad.com
