Jim,
We’re getting slaughtered. From the magnitude of it, you’d think "they" are anticipating a 50 basis point hike on the 29th! What’s your take on what’s happening?
CIGA Joe
Joe,
I assume you read www.jsmineset.com.
I assume you have seen the long term comparison of interest rates, gold, the US dollar and inflation.
I assume you do not use margin.
This is a concerted operation to blunt inflationary expectations as the President’s visit to Iraq is for ratings. “Wag the Dog,” is the world we live in.
Dig a hole, pull a rock over the top. Look out once each week, and when this nonsense has ended and gold is headed towards $1650 come out.
Regards, Jim
Mr. Slider I dont particarly want to be climbing in any holes and pulling a rock over my head. I'm too old for that.
Today I am making my largest buy since I got into gold and silver again and my style is simple. I am not a trader in gold and gold stocks, I am an investor in them. So today they are on sale and I am buying hand over fist as Mr. Cramer likes to say on CNBC. Today, much cheaper than a month ago.
It appears from Mr Sinclairs comments above, that his biggest mistake was 'assuming' so much.
So dare I ask you your assumptions on the following?
1. Where is gold going to finally settle in at? 2. What will cause it to bottom and how can I know its getting close to a bottom? 3. Is it all over for gold? 4. If it is not 'all over'- and you think this is a long term cycle, what will cause the gold bull to resume and how high can it go?
TIA,
Ron
And by the way.
There is 'all hat and no cattle'.
There is 'no hat and no cattle'.
There is 'no hat and lots of cattle' which is the greatest compliment.
And dont take this the wrong way, but there is also another catagory, there is you- 'big damn hat and a lot of cattle'.
Son, I like your style. Some may not.
No BS and balls the size of Texas. Good for you.
TIA,
